Purpose
Truth Trench Think Tank is an independent nonprofit research institute organized for societal benefit. Our intent is to advance public knowledge, strengthen organizations, and foster innovation through research, education, strategic planning, and cross-sector collaboration. We help government, nonprofit, academic, and private-sector stakeholders better understand complex challenges and identify practical, evidence-informed solutions.

Limitations
To preserve its charitable purpose and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state nonprofit laws, Truth Trench Think Tank does not:
- Manufacture, commercialize, or sell proprietary commercial products as its primary purpose.
- Perform work that creates an impermissible private benefit for any individual or business.
- Serve as a broker, sales representative, or procurement agent.
- Guarantee grants, contracts, investments, or procurement awards.
- Write proposals or applications on behalf of organizations as a contingency-based service.
- Participate in partisan political campaign activity or endorse political candidates.
- Engage in lobbying activities beyond those permitted under applicable nonprofit law.
- Provide legal, accounting, tax, engineering, or other licensed professional services unless performed by appropriately licensed professionals acting within their own scope of practice.
- Make contracting or procurement decisions for government agencies.
- Disclose confidential or proprietary information without authorization.
- Assume operational control of private businesses except through separately established contractual relationships that comply with applicable law.
Relationship with For-Profit Organizations
Truth Trench Think Tank may collaborate with private-sector organizations when doing so advances its charitable and educational mission. Such collaborations may include research, education, innovation support, workforce development, ecosystem building, strategic planning, and public-benefit initiatives.
Commercial product development, intellectual property ownership, manufacturing, sales, contract performance, and revenue-generating business activities remain the responsibility of the respective for-profit entity unless otherwise established through a lawful written agreement.
