Come curiousLeave connected
No podium. No pitch deck. No dress code.
Good ideas do not only happen in conference rooms.
They happen when the engineer talks to the welder. When the farmer meets the programmer. When the builder, machinist, researcher, entrepreneur, and civic leader finally sit at the same table.
Thirsty Thursdays creates that table. Come talk about the intersection of civics and economics, the problems you see firsthand, and the practical innovations that could make American communities and industries work better.
Nerds, hammer swingers, wrench turners, builders, growers, and problem-solvers belong in the same conversation.
What we talk about
Real systems. Real work. Real possibilities.
The conversation follows the people in the room, with a deeper focus on the industries that keep the country moving.
Manufacturing & Production
Better processes, smarter tooling, supply chains, workforce gaps, automation, and the hard-earned knowledge that never appears in a spreadsheet.
Construction & Infrastructure
How we build, maintain, permit, finance, and improve the places where people live and work.
Agriculture & Technology
Practical innovation for the land, equipment, logistics, labor, food systems, and resilient local economies.
Where the Accelerator fits
A good conversation can become more than a conversation.
Thirsty Thursdays is also a front door to the Truth Trench Accelerator. When people uncover a real problem, find the right mix of technical knowledge and hands-on experience, and want to keep working, the Accelerator provides a place to shape the idea, test what is practical, and move a serious project forward.
Find the friction
Start with the production, construction, agricultural, civic, or economic problem people face in the real world.
Build the team
Connect operators, tradespeople, engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and community partners around the same challenge.
Move it forward
Turn the strongest conversations into experiments, working plans, prototypes, or ventures worth developing.
There is no pitch requirement and no promise that every idea becomes a project. The point is to create the conditions where useful ideas and the people capable of building them can find each other.
Who should come
If you make, fix, grow, design, study, organize, or build, pull up a chair.
You do not need a title, a degree, or a particular political label. Bring curiosity, firsthand knowledge, and respect for people who see the world differently.
