Veterans Day is approaching, and so is Red, White & Bluegrass.
On Wednesday, November 11, the Jack Wilcox Theater in Plymouth, Michigan, will host two Veterans Day benefit performances bringing together live bluegrass music, recognition of military service and support for a larger mission serving America’s veterans.
If you have been thinking about attending, now is the time to make your plans.
Tickets are already on sale, seating is limited by section, and there will be no ticket sales at the theater on the day of the event.
Two Performances. One Veterans Day.
Red, White & Bluegrass offers two opportunities to attend.
The afternoon performance begins at 3:00 PM, with doors opening at 2:30 PM. The evening performance begins at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.
Both performances take place at the Jack Wilcox Theater, 650 Church Street in Plymouth.
The Edgar Loudermilk Band headlines the event, bringing nationally recognized bluegrass musicianship to the stage. Sandy Point joins the program as the special opening guest, while Quilts of Valor will make a special presentation recognizing veterans and their service.
Live seating options range from $25 to $55.
This is an opportunity to spend Veterans Day enjoying great American music while supporting something larger than the performance itself.

Can’t Be There? Watch It Live.
Distance does not have to keep someone from participating.
Red, White & Bluegrass will also be available by livestream, allowing veterans, military families and supporters outside Plymouth to watch the event online.
A livestream pass provides access to both the 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM performances, making it possible to participate in the day’s program from home.
That means someone across Michigan—or across the country—can still be part of Red, White & Bluegrass.
If you know a veteran, military family member or bluegrass fan who cannot attend in person, send them the event page.
The Mission Continues After the Music
Red, White & Bluegrass is a benefit concert, and a percentage of event proceeds supports Spark Nation’s developing veteran continuum of care.
That work is centered on connecting veterans with the organizations, employers, businesses and individuals capable of helping them move forward.
For one veteran, that might mean employment.
For another, housing.
For someone else, entrepreneurship, recovery, mentorship, family support or simply finding a community again.
The purpose is not to duplicate organizations already serving veterans. It is to help connect them.
That makes Red, White & Bluegrass both a celebration and an investment in what happens after Veterans Day.
Bring Someone With You
If you are attending, consider bringing someone with you.
Bring a veteran.
Bring your parents.
Bring your children.
Bring a neighbor who served.
Bring someone who loves bluegrass.
Bring someone who simply believes the people who served this country deserve to know their communities still remember them.
Veterans Day belongs to all Americans because the service we recognize was performed on behalf of all Americans.
On November 11, we have an opportunity to demonstrate that together.
