Find the record. Connect the evidence. Know when it changes.
The public record is public. Following it is still harder than it should be.
One question becomes ten browser tabs.
One useful record disappears into a download folder.
One comment deadline, funding opportunity, or agency change gets missed.
Truth Agent gives that work a home.
Built for verification, not blind trust
Move from a claim to the record behind it.
Search official systems
Reach public records covering oversight, federal spending, rulemaking, Congress, available federal court opinions, FOIA offices, influence disclosures, enforcement, operational risk, and fiscal data.
Preserve what matters
Save useful findings to Evidence File / The Dig with source information, identifiers, retrieval time, and a SHA-256 record digest when available.
Watch for changes
Save source-specific watches and compare refreshed records so new or changed results are easier to spot. Source health stays visible when an official system is unavailable.
Keep control local
Your notes, research files, evidence, calendar entries, watches, alerts, and settings stay in your computer’s per-user data location. You choose what leaves your workspace.
Your research. Your evidence. Your pace.
Truth Agent helps prepare the work. You remain responsible for reviewing the original source and deciding what to publish, apply for, comment on, request, or share.

Frequently asked questions
Is Truth Agent a chatbot or companion?
No. It is a federal accountability and research engine. It uses brief operational responses while working, but it is not designed for social conversation or a personal relationship.
Does it verify every claim for me?
No. Truth Agent helps retrieve, organize, preserve, and compare public records. You remain responsible for checking important information against the original source.
Does it submit FOIA requests or public comments?
No. It can help prepare a draft and direct you to the official source. You review and submit it yourself.
Does it send my local research to the web?
Your local research does not automatically become a general browser search. Live official-source searches send the search term needed to retrieve the requested public records. Those public systems may have their own logging and privacy practices.
Can I use it offline?
Yes, for saved notes, research files, evidence, civic references, and previously cached information. Initial activation and current online sources require internet access.
Is this a finished production release?
No. Truth Agent 1.2 is beta software. The Windows beta may display an unfamiliar-app or publisher warning because it is not yet digitally signed. Buyers should review the published installation notes and system requirements before installing.
