Truth Trench Think Tank is happy to announce the successful launch of Truth Trench Thirsty Thursdays on October 1, 2026. What began as an idea for creating a regular place where people could simply get together, have a drink, meet their neighbors and have real conversations is now officially underway.
The first Thirsty Thursday brought people together in exactly the way the event was intended. No podiums. No lectures. No complicated agenda. Just people meeting face-to-face, introducing themselves, exchanging ideas and building relationships within their community.
That simplicity is important.
At a time when so much of our communication takes place through social media, text messages, email and algorithms, Thirsty Thursdays is intentionally different. It creates an opportunity to put the phones down, sit across the table from another person and talk. You might agree. You might disagree. You might meet someone you otherwise never would have crossed paths with. The point is to get people back into the same room.
The First of Many
October 1 was the launch, not the finish line.
We are already looking forward to the next Truth Trench Thirsty Thursday at Right Brain Brewery and continuing to build this gathering one conversation and one relationship at a time.
Thirsty Thursdays is meant to be easy to participate in. Come as you are. Grab a drink. Bring a friend. Meet somebody new. Talk about your business, your community, something happening in the country, an idea you have been working on, or whatever happens to come up around the table.
There is no requirement that everyone think alike. In fact, that would defeat much of the purpose.
Healthy communities are built when people are willing to meet one another, listen, exchange ideas and discover what they have in common despite their differences.
A Huge Thank You
We also want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has already reached out asking how they can start a Thirsty Thursday in their own location.
That response has been one of the most exciting parts of the launch.
The idea was never supposed to be limited to one brewery or one community. Thirsty Thursdays was created as something that could be repeated anywhere people are willing to bring others together.
A brewery. A restaurant. A coffee shop. A veterans organization. A neighborhood gathering place. A community venue.
The location can change. The principle remains the same: bring people together.
To everyone who has contacted Truth Trench about bringing Thirsty Thursdays to your community, thank you. We appreciate the enthusiasm, and we are excited about the possibility of seeing these gatherings develop in other locations.
This is how something local can become something much larger without losing what made it valuable in the first place.
