Donald Trump and Fox News have had a love-hate relationship from the moment Trump began his foray into Presidential politics. Fox loves Trump because he brings them enormous ratings. They also hate him because of his anti-establishment, America First campaign platform.
Trump loves Fox because they have an enormous base of conservative American voters who have gradually embraced the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement. He also hates them because at the most crucial of moments, they pull the rug out from under him.
During the 2016 primaries, Trump boycotted the final debate, accusing the host, Megyn Kelly, of bias:
During the 2020 Presidential debates, Fox news host, Chris Wallace, effectively took over the debate against President Trump while Joe Biden fell asleep at the podium:
During the 2020 Presidential Election, Fox News called the state of Arizona remarkably early for Biden.
Fox journalists must have known that it takes days, even weeks, before votes can be counted in Arizona. Nevertheless, Rupert Murdoch decided it was time to make the call on Arizona exceptionally early.
Fast forward to the 2022 midterms, and Rupert’s New York Post immediately moved to paint Trump as a failed and broken politician:
Trump took to Truth Social to declare his disappointment with Fox:
Fox News has certainly shown their true colors at critical moments during the Trump timeline.
In this article, we will go back in history to gain an understanding of the man behind Fox; Rupert Murdoch.
Bismarck and the Reptiles
Before we dive deep into the world of Rupert, let’s first go back to Prussia and look at how they used propaganda to achieve their objectives in the Art of War. In ReichsWEF – Part I , we highlighted the immense achievements of Otto von Bismarck, the ‘Iron Chancellor’. During the German Reunification Wars, Bismarck played the role of the master statesman, and utilized propaganda at every turn.
https://truthtrench.org/?p=3671
Propaganda was an essential part of Prussian warfare. Bismarck required a staggering amount of funds to bribe, blackmail and coerce news outlets to manipulate the news into Prussia’s favor. These funds were not readily available to Bismarck because the Prussian Parliament would need to approve the program. Instead of seeking parliamentary approval, Bismarck destroyed his Hanoverian neighbors, and confiscated their assets for his ‘black ops’.
As we know, the House of Hanover also held the crown of the British Monarchy since the early 18th century. It was never a question that Hanover was Prussia’s proverbial slave. Once Prussia annexed Hanover in 1866, the Prussian elite openly described the Hanoverian nobility as reptiles; which may explain the origin of the idea of monarchical “lizard people”.
Regardless, Prussia had set the stage for the use of black-ops funds to be funnelled into prestigious news outlets for the purpose of propaganda. To manipulate the minds of the masses into a frenzy and mobilize them against their enemies.
This tactic was well understood by the Nazis.
In many ways, propaganda is an invisible weapon. The collective consciousness of society is unaware that it has been fed lies, and therefore it remains oblivious to the actions they take (or do not take). These blatant lies are labelled as truths and bull-horned as “trusted news”.
Beaverbrook, Northcliffe and Psychological Battlefields
It was decades before the British Empire caught up to the propaganda antics of their Prussian cousins. At the onset of WWI, two of the most powerful men in media were appointed to head up the Allied Powers propaganda machine. These men were Max Aitken and Alfred Harmsworth, otherwise known as Lord Beaverbrook and Lord Northcliffe. These two men dominated the media and its manipulation by the British government:
When Aitken (Beaverbrook) arrived in the UK, he struck up friendships with news mogul Lord Northcliffe, the future British Prime Minister Bonar Law, as well as people like Rudyard Kipling. With Beaverbrook and Northcliffe’s control of national newspapers, the two men had the ability to shape the British narrative of world events, as they saw fit.
For Beaverbrook, the newspapers he controlled served one sole purpose:
During WWI, Beaverbrook was approached by the British Prime Minister, David Lloyd George:
Beaverbrook became Director of Propaganda in Allied territory, and his friend Lord Northcliffe was appointed the Director of Propaganda in enemy countries.
Under this new ‘Ministry of Information’, truth often became an irrelevant nuisance. The only thing that was important was to shape the minds of the subjects of the British Empire, informing them that the war effort was not only necessary, but vital to support in every way possible; either as a volunteer soldier, or as an investor:
While Beaverbrook was successful in raising funds for the British war machine, Northcliffe was having an enormous impact in enemy territory. He was so successful that even Kaiser Wilhelm II was in awe:
As we have established, Prussia was the preeminent war machine of the era, and already had a sophisticated propaganda apparatus of their own. The significance of Kaiser Wilhelm II’s salute to Northcliffe and Beaverbrook cannot be underestimated in terms of framing the future of propaganda on the world stage. These men had refined propaganda to such an extent that they had deployed it onto the battlefield; psychological operations were now the superior weapon of war.
In An Ode to the Prussian pickle – Part IV we explored the various organizations that spawned from the Tavistock Institute. UNESCO, the WHO and the WWF are some examples. Tavistock was known as the “Psychiatric Branch of the British Empire”, and it deployed a vast array of psychological strategies to advance the globalist elite’s Malthusian plans; namely depopulation of the planet.
https://truthtrench.org/?p=3707
What is significant is the organisation that preceded the Tavistock Institute. The ‘Ministry of Information’ that was being coordinated by Beaverbrook and Northcliffe during WWI, was operated from an address known as ‘Wellington House’:
After the immense success of the War Propaganda Bureau, steps were taken to institutionalize psychological operations within the British intelligence apparatus:
The efforts of Beaverbrook and Northcliffe lead directly to the formation of the Tavistock Institute. Julian Huxley was appointed to Tavistock, and the rest is history (which we presented comprehensively in our series, “An Ode to the Prussian Pickle”).
The accomplishments of Beaverbrook and Northcliffe did not stop at Tavistock. We will show that they had a profound effect in the establishment of the Murdoch media mogul dynasty.
Lord “Southcliffe”
The birth of the Murdoch family as media barons begins with Rupert Murdoch’s father, Keith. The Murdoch family had emigrated to Australia from Scotland. Keith Murdoch’s father was a Presbyterian minister. After Keith graduated from Camberwell Grammar school in 1903 he was unable to follow in his father’s footsteps as a preacher because of an unfortunate stutter.
Keith was an intelligent man, and the exclusive education he received polished his writing skills, as well as providing him with a network of some of the most influential Australian families of the era. Instead of preaching, Keith pursued a career in journalism. Keith Murdoch proved himself a worthy Australian journalist, and by 1910 he was in demand by the most established newspapers in the country.
At the outbreak of WWI, Keith Murdoch failed in his attempt to become Australia’s official war correspondent. However, this rejection did not deter his ambition, and he set sail for London in 1915 as a representative of the United Cable Service. It was at this moment that Keith Murdoch’s career received global notoriety.
Dardanelles and Baku
The Baku oil fields were perhaps one of the most strategic assets during WW1.
An interesting side note: UNESCO has quietly staked its claim over Baku. Is this just a coincidence given how we exposed their globalist connections in An Ode to a Prussian Pickle?
Whoever controlled the Baku oil fields during the Great War would be in an exceptionally powerful position. Prior to WW1, the owners of the oil fields reveal some familiar names:
Some may recognize the Nobel family from the infamous “Nobel Prize”. Their wealth was so vast during this time that they were known as the “Russian Rockefellers”. Their partnership with the Rothschilds created staggering wealth for both parties.
In addition to the Nobels and Rothschilds, there are references to “British financiers” who were also participating in the Baku oil industry. Recall in the Evolution of Slaveryseries, most of Britain’s financiers were of Hanseatic origin, and loyal to the Kaiser by their family’s pledge of allegiance to the Prussian King.
It is not known if the Rothschilds knew of the pending catastrophe of the Great War, but by 1912 they had sold most of their Baku oil interests. Within a few years, the military powers of Europe were in a mad-scramble to take control of Baku. It was a one of the greatest shit-shows of World War 1.
Russia had been receiving Baku oil and kerosene for decades, and they depended heavily on its supply to survive the war. Germany were also desperate for oil during the war. They allied with the Ottoman Empire, who were by far the greatest military force in the region. Should Germany and the Ottomans win the war, they would have access to one of the largest oil reserves of that time.
The Allied Forces, commanded by the British, understood all too well what was at stake at Baku. Their goal was simple; take out the Ottoman Empire and control Istanbul as soon as possible. This was to be achieved through a strategy known as the “Dardanelles campaign”:
What transpired at Gallipoli was perhaps one of the most significant defeats incurred by the Allied Forces:
However, what will never be forgotten was the courage shown by the soldiers on both sides of the confrontation. The ANZACs (Australia New Zealand Army Corps) suffered tremendous losses at the Dardanelles. They were commanded to storm the Ottomans under impossible odds and heavy fire. It was a horrendous scene (1:46 mins):
https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/mhu_77VU4tA?rel=0&autoplay=0&showinfo=0&enablejsapi=0
Their courage and bravery will never be forgotten by their fellow countrymen, and every year thousands of Australians and New Zealanders travel to Gallipoli to pay their respects to the battlefield and their ancestral warriors.
Militarily speaking, the Dardanelles campaign was a disaster. What is most interesting is what lead to the decision to make a hasty retreat from the region. The answer lies with a man named Keith Murdoch. (KM):
The actions taken by Keith Murdoch have become known as the “Gallipoli Letter”.
If the commanding officer of the Dardanelles campaign, Sir Ian Hamilton, claimed that Murdoch’s letter was “the embellished version”, would not such a release be classified as propaganda?
The Gallipoli letter wholeheartedly questioned the conduct of Hamilton, which inevitably lead to a parliamentary inquiry, known as the Dardanelles inquiry. The revelations from this inquiry would be concealed from the public for considerable time, due to the sensitive nature of its content during wartime.
What, exactly, had Keith Murdoch embellished?
Would Murdoch’s letter to senior officials have been taken so seriously if he had explained that he had not met any British generals at Gallipoli?
An inquiry was demanded, but this was such a lopsided affair; one of Keith Murdoch’s close friends and former Australian Prime Minister, Sir Andrew Fisher, was appointed as a Commissioner of the inquiry. What transpired revealed the true character of Keith Murdoch, however nothing was done regarding the rules he had broken, nor the letter he had penned. Lives had been lost and families had been decimated, seemingly without consequence.
The Ottoman/ German alliance eventually took over the Baku oil fields, but it soon returned to Russia’s hands; it was now under Bolshevik control. Recall in The Prussian Origins of Marxism, how the Russian Bolshevik revolution was financed and controlled by the Kaiser and his two military men; Paul von Hindenburg and Erich Ludendorff:
The Murdoch-led disaster in the Dardanelles lead to the Bolshevik control of Baku. If the Bolsheviks were financed by the Kaiser, who was truly controlling the oil fields?
What is certain from the entire fiasco is that Keith Murdoch’s letter significantly altered the military strategy of the Allied Forces during WWI.
Sir John Monash
During WWI, another Australian was considered to be one of the best military commanders for the Allied Forces:
Why would such an accomplished military man never reach the rank of Field Marshal? That may have something to do with the recommendation of Keith Murdoch:
Why did Keith Murdoch not like John Monash?
“Couldn’t manipulate him.”
Granted, this is a historian’s perspective, but why would Murdoch wish to manipulate a man who had placed Australia on the map as successfully taking down the Prussian forces of Erich Ludendorff?
The answer may lie with Keith Murdoch’s mentor, Lord Northcliffe.
The Media Godfather
We noted earlier that when Keith Murdoch set sail for London he received a job with the United Cable Service (UCS). UCS distributed articles to Australia that were from Northcliffe. As we know, Northcliffe and Beaverbrook became the directors of propaganda for the entire British Empire. The ‘Gallipoli letter’ was all that Northcliffe needed to know about the character of Keith Murdoch:
(Note: Hughes was the Australian Prime Minister at the time)
Once under the tutelage of Northcliffe, Murdoch’s career never looked back:
Keith was absolutely enamored with Lord Northcliffe, who in turn knew he could make use of Murdoch’s ambitions:
All things considered, Keith Murdoch’s adoration for Northcliffe was a symbiotic relationship. Murdoch’s reputation as a future media baron would be solidified, while Northcliffe could use him to serve the mysterious purposes of the British ‘Ministry of Information’.
From this moment on, the Murdoch family were embedded within British aristocracy, and the most powerful men in the world would seek Keith’s favorable judgement in the press.
The relationship between Murdoch and Northcliffe never faltered. After WWI, Northcliffe’s health began to fail. Keith was determined to stay by his side and gain as much wisdom as possible from the director of propaganda. Northcliffe and Murdoch even holidayed together:
In August, 1922, Northcliffe passed away without leaving any children; although he did have illegitimate children to a few mistresses. However, the most valuable asset in his estate was intangible; it was the wisdom and knowledge of how to manipulate the minds of the masses to achieve political objectives of the British Empire. This ‘talent’ was duly handed down to his de-facto son, Keith Murdoch.
Northcliffe’s gift to Keith Murdoch would work hand-in-glove with his other legacy; the eventual formation of the Tavistock institute.
Building an Empire for an Empire
Keith Murdoch wasted no time when he returned to Australia. He immediately set about becoming Australia’s media baron. His ambitions were pursued by an equivalent amount of controversy. Soon after his return to Australia, Keith accompanied Prince Edward VIII on his Australasia tour of the Empire:
Recall in Marburg Files: Prince Philip, Hitler and the Queen of England , Prince Edward VIII was in regular communication with Adolf Hitler. Their communications were discovered by Americans after WWII at the city of Marburg; hence the term, ‘Marburg Files’.
https://truthtrench.org/?p=3643
(Edward and Adolf)
Regardless, the close relationship of Keith Murdoch with the future king of England cemented him as Australian royalty, which served to perpetuate his reputation as an authority and purveyor of truth.
However, the true intent of Keith’s ambitions did not lie in a desire to promote truth, but in selling as many newspapers as possible.
In 1921 he was running the Herald newspaper. Using the skill-sets he accumulated from Lord Northcliffe, he nearly doubled the paper’s circulation within a year. The story responsible for the paper’s growth was known as the “Gun Alley Murder”:
This was a terrible tragedy. However, it was one that served Keith Murdoch’s career fabulously. At the time, it was not lost on Australians the gravity of the situation that was unfolding, and the power Murdoch was yielding:
The Murdoch machine was marching on. As an executive at the Herald, Keith Murdoch realized the true extent of the power he was accumulating:
As Keith Murdoch began building a national news chain, another interesting connection began to come to light:
Recall in the series, An Ode to the Prussian Pickle, the ideology behind eugenics in the UK stemmed from Julian Huxley and the Tavistock institute, which originated from the British Ministry of Information. In other words, most of the ideology that shaped Keith Murdoch’s thinking was derived from his mentor, Lord Northcliffe.
In 1931, Rupert Murdoch was born. Keith Murdoch was earnestly trying to build his media empire and shape Australia toward his vision. With Lord Northcliffe long-gone, Keith Murdoch began to engage Northcliffe’s partner in crime during those wild days of propaganda at the Ministry of Information. That man was Lord Beaverbrook. Keith Murdoch and Beaverbrook would share numerous communiques over the years, many of which have been preserved at the National Library of Australia. These communications shed enormous light on the mindset and relationship of these two men.
In 1929, a man named Mr. Doidge suggested to Beaverbrook that he catch-up with the “really influential” Murdoch in London. Doidge pointed out that Murdoch was very interested in Beaverbrook’s “Crusade” and his “Manifesto”:
In 1930, Murdoch wrote to Beaverbrook describing his attempts in the media to support the “British Marketing Scheme”. Rather than trade agreements being left to chance with elected governments, the pair appeared intent on controlling national trade through the corporate press:
Beaverbrook’s reply:
Beaverbrook’s reference to “our movement” is very intriguing. Such a reference suggests a clear intent to act in unison toward a collective goal; it implies the presence of a plan; it embodies a sense of direction. When incorporating this concept with media control and election outcomes, Beaverbrook’s statement takes on a far more nefarious tone.
In 1945, Beaverbrook wrote to Murdoch, having assured a mutual friend about the outcome of the upcoming elections in Great Britain:
Beaverbrook’s “movement” was obviously impressive given he could assure the outcome of an election.
In 1947, Murdoch wrote to Beaverbrook of their great success in an Australian election:
Who are the “Canberra gang”? Why would a journalist be trying to influence the content of banking legislation and talk of overthrowing Australian Prime Minster, Ben Chifley?
Beaverbrook replied with elation:
Socialism aside, one must wonder why media barons were so intent on using their platform to influence elections and control policy. These are not clandestine communications; they are proud boasts that have been kept for posterity by the National Library of Australia.
Elections should represent the will of the people. Political leadership can have enormous consequences for national policy and law-making. Manipulated or stolen elections have catastrophic consequences, because not only is the will of the people ignored, but those installed as leaders represent an invisible unelected power.
If we apply this metric to media barons attempting to influence the outcome of elections using propaganda, as Lord Beaverbrook stated was the sole purpose of his newspapers, who is this hidden unelected power they are serving?
Perhaps the answer may lie in everything we have thus far presented in #PrussiaGate.
Passing of the Crown
In 1952, Keith Murdoch unexpectedly died and his legacy was handed on to the family:
Like the enormous intangible gift that had been handed to Keith Murdoch by Lord Northcliffe, Rupert’s inheritance was also intangible. The news of Keith Murdoch’s death deeply upset Lord Beaverbrook, and he took Rupert under his wing in London:
The work experience proved invaluable, and Beaverbrook was impressed with the young Rupert’s work ethic. As a mentor of the now-famous global media mogul, we should remember Beaverbrook’s true purpose behind his newspapers:
“I run my papers purely for propaganda”
When young Rupert returned home to Australia, the family assets were by no means staggering. It would be his hard work ethic and his drive for power and expansion that would ultimately be the force that created the News Corporation juggernaut. It is claimed that his drive is most certainly due to the legacy left by his father:
Rupert’s empire expanded rapidly in Australia, eventually controlling two-thirds of the national newspaper market. From this platform he launched into the UK:
From the UK, Murdoch hopped across the pond, and began his foray into America:
Rupert Murdoch entered the television game with the acquisition of 21st Century Fox Studios. Today, Fox is claimed to be the home of conservative journalism, but with a twist:
The Beaver’s Fox
We now come full circle; to the 2018, 2020 and 2022 elections in the United States of America. Recall in the beginning of the article, the predictable patterns that Fox implemented with respect to MAGA and Trump, particularly at critical junctures during the election. Also remember that many of these sensational anti-MAGA actions have come from the top of the Fox command-structure, and not just Rupert.
One can be forgiven for having strong differences of opinion, and there are many who disagree with Trump. However, for the likes of Paul Ryan and Rupert Murdoch, it does not appear to be about differing opinions, but about who is in leadership.
Recall that over a century ago, Keith Murdoch admonished one of Australia’s greatest military commanders, Sir John Monash. It was claimed that Keith Murdoch did not like Monash because “he could not be manipulated”.
Today, Trump and the MAGA movement represent an unstoppable force where power is being wrestled back to We the People. Like his father did, is Rupert now seeking to use his media arsenal to end a leader and a growing movement of people who cannot be manipulated?
Is America now receiving the Sir John Monash treatment?
We must now ask a critical question: Is America a Constitutional Republic that uses transparent democratic systems to appoint its public officials, or is it still being ruled by a self-appointed invisible empire that installs its own leaders, using propaganda to control and subdue the minds of the people?
If there is a horrible invisible enemy, their soldiers are walking amongst us. Therefore, the answer to this question is not far away.
