The First Amendment guarantees free speech, that is to say, speaking truth to power. A fine example of the government’s encroachment of free speech is in front of us currently as the spectacle in New York plays out. The state vs. President Donald J. Trump.
What many often forget is the second amendment guarantees the others. When speaking truth to power results in government encroachment, we have the ability to defend ourselves against such tyranny; and stand up to those who seek to do us harm.

Free state
A state is a political division of a body of people that occupies a territory defined by frontiers. The state is sovereign in its territory (also referred to as jurisdiction) and has the authority to enforce a system of rules over the people living inside it. That system of rules is commonly composed of a constitution, statutes, regulations, and common law.
The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
We the people have the ability to defend ourselves against a tyrannical government and individuals who mean us harm in the course of a natural life. It is important for all honest and free people to know how and when to use their powers for good.
When is one authorized to use deadly force?
Deadly Force: That force which a reasonable or prudent person would consider most likely to cause death or serious bodily harm; The loss of life, limb, eyesight, or assault with intent to rape are all justifiable reasons for intervening with the use of deadly force against an opponent.
God forbid you ever find yourself in a lifethreatening scenario. Know your rights and train responsibly for that one moment when it may come in handy.
